This podcast explores the big and tiny wonders of the world - from outer space to our brain cells! Their normal episodes last about 30 minutes, but their Two Whats? And A Wow! series has 10 minute episodes.

 

But Why? A Podcast for Curious Kids

But Why is a place for those question-askers to listen! Episode topics ask everything from How Do We Fall Asleep? to Are Unicorns Real? Episodes are typically 20-30 minutes.

This podcast brings in famous artists to create radio theatre adaptations of classic folktales from around the world!

Read alouds are videos of authors, celebrities, or other inspiring people reading their favorite picture book to you!

Story Time From Space

This library of videos are all of astronauts reading picture books while on their space stations! How cool is that? Videos show both the pages of the books and different angles of the spacecraft where the astronauts are floating.

Storyline Online

Many of these books are read by famous actors, including Betty White (Toy Story 4), Chris Pine (Star Trek), and Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings). You can hover over the book options to see who each book is read by, and when you select the video, choose "YouTube" as your preferred video method.

Kid Lit TV's Read Out Louds

Kid Lit TV is a media hub for all things related to children's literature. The Read Out Louds page contains read-alouds from childrens' book authors.

Goodnight with Dolly Parton

Premiering live on April 2, 2020 at 6:00pm (our time), Dolly Parton will be reading bedtime stories to children as part of her Imagination Library initiative. This Thursday she will be reading The Little Engine That Could. You can join her on YouTube or at her website below.

The Spanish Experiment Spanish Children's Stories

Kids Read 2 Kids

This organization was started by a group of siblings to encourage kids with Dyslexia and ADHD to keep reading. They film themselves reading each chapter of Abridged Classics and a small collection of Chapter Books.

Josh Gad Book Club

Josh Gad (who plays Olaf from Frozen) has been recently hosting the Gad Book Club on his Twitter and Instagram live accounts. This link will take you straight to the #GadBookClub Twitter page with the posts that are from @joshgad. He usually streams live videos at 7:00 pm on days he announces a reading. Of course, we require parents and guardians to partner with their students while navigating Twitter and social media.
